About the Salon
Bark & Crown is the result of a lifetime love affair with dogs. Each dog has its own special needs, and should be treated like the individual they are! I focus on grooming one dog at a time, so your pet receives the care and attention it deserves. I emphasize a low stress environment for your pet in order to best maintain their comfort.
We use Nature’s Specialties products which are cruelty-free and made in the USA.
We require up to date Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations.

At Bark & Crown we know that both life and dogs can be chaotic! Did your pet run through the mud before family pictures, or scare a skunk before a big get together? We can help! When possible, Gaby will do her best to come in outside of standard business hours, and on unscheduled days to meet your emergency needs.

About Gaby
Gaby grew up on the Main Line with her three dogs, Pepe (the inspiration for our logo), Nina, and Petunia. She attended the Baldwin School and Phillips Exeter Academy before studying biological anthropology at Vanderbilt University. She completed her grooming studies at the Dog Grooming School of Pennsylvania.
Gaby currently lives right here in Ardmore with her deaf Australian Cattle Dog, Moxxi.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations accepted up to 48 hours before the scheduled service. Within 48 hours of the service, cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled cost.

Frequently Asked Questions
The amount of time between grooming appointments will vary based on coat type and style of haircut that you want to maintain. We typically recommend scheduling an appointment for every 6-8 weeks.
Yes! Due to how quickly appointment spots fill up, we recommend scheduling a minimum of one appointment in advance to ensure that your dog receives a spot.
Because of our commitment to giving each dog our full focus during their appointment time, we do not offer walk in appointments.
We know that life and work schedules can be hectic, so we offer case by case emergency appointments outside of normal business hours. These appointments are made on an individual basis, and are scheduled at the discretion of the lead groomer.
No. Due to the small space and high risk of transmission to other clients, we are unable to offer flea baths.
We require all dogs submit proof of current vaccination records prior to their appointment, without exception. We require up to date Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations. Please send copies of all vaccine certificates to vaccines@barkandcrown.com.
